DuPont Supports California Cotton Conference

November 16, 2005 – It was a luau like no other when DuPont helped sponsor the 3rd-annual Central Coast Cotton Conference in Shell Beach, Calif., where nearly 175 attendees gathered to hear the latest information on California cotton production.

The opening welcome reception festivities on Nov. 16 sparked the beginning to a successful conference. DuPont sponsored a giveaway where Jim Hill, cotton grower from Fresno, Calif., was the lucky winner of a digital camera.

Conference highlights included updates on plant nutrition, variety selection, disease management, use of plant growth regulators, defoliation timing and materials, irrigation management and much more. The 2006 conference is set for The Monterey Plaza, Nov. 15-17.
