Barry M. Granger
Vice President - DuPont Government Affairs
Barry M. Granger is vice president for DuPont Government Affairs. In this role, he has responsibility for government affairs; including U.S. Federal and State and International affairs. Mr. Granger joined DuPont in 1987 at the Chambers Works manufacturing site in Deepwater, N.J.
Prior to his current position, he served as the vice president and general manager of DuPont Nonwovens (Tyvek® and Sontara® brands). He has held various positions in manufacturing supervision, business management and function leadership in DuPont. In 1996, Mr. Granger was appointed executive assistant to the chairman and CEO and the office of the chief executive members. He was also assistant secretary of DuPont and secretary to the Strategic Direction and Environmental Policy Committees of the Board of Directors. In 2002, he was named as the vice president and general manager for Imaging Technologies. He assumed his current role in July 2009.
He received his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in 1981. In addition, he received his master's degree in business administration from Indiana University in 1987. He is active on several industry and community boards, including the Economic Club of Washington D.C., the National Defense Industry Association and Delaware State University.
