Benito Cachinero-Sánchez


Senior Vice President - DuPont Human Resources

Benito Cachinero-Sánchez is senior vice president of DuPont Human Resources and a member of the company’s senior leadership team. He joined DuPont in April 2011.

Prior to DuPont, he had over 30 years of Human Resources experience in leadership positions within large global organizations. His most immediate prior assignments include corporate vice president of Human Resources at Automatic Data Processing Inc. and vice president of Human Resources for the Medical Devices & Diagnostics sector of Johnson & Johnson.

He is on the board of directors of the U.S.-Spain Chamber of Commerce, the HR Policy Association, and the Health Transformation Alliance. In addition, he is on the board of advisors of Catalyst and the Center on Executive Compensation. In 2016, he was inducted as a Fellow into the National Academy of Human Resources.

Mr. Cachinero-Sánchez supports and is a member of the board of directors of The Library of America, a non-profit publisher dedicated to publishing and keeping in print authoritative editions of America's best and most significant writing. He is a member of the board of directors of WHYY, the Philadelphia region's leading public media service, and of the Free Library of Philadelphia Foundation.

Mr. Cachinero-Sánchez was born in Malaga (Spain). He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Sociology from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He also received an MBA from IESE, a leading European business school, an M.A. in Sociology and an M.A. in Demography, both from the University of Pennsylvania.
