Senior Vice President and General Counsel
Stacy Fox is senior vice president and general counsel. She joined DuPont in October 2014. In January 2016, she added the responsibility for Corporate Communications. After the completion of the proposed merger of equals between DuPont and Dow, Ms. Fox will become the general counsel for DowDuPont. The merger is expected to close in the second half of 2016.
Prior to joining DuPont, Ms. Fox served as deputy emergency manager for the city of Detroit, where she played an instrumental role in guiding the city through the largest municipal bankruptcy in U.S. history.
Prior to that role, Ms. Fox was senior vice president of Strategy and general counsel of Sunoco, Inc., a Philadelphia-based refining and distribution company. During her three years at Sunoco, Ms. Fox had oversight of several corporate functions, including strategy, risk management, legal and compliance. Ms. Fox also served as a member of the board of directors of Sunoco Partners LLC, a NYSE-listed master limited partnership that owns and operates refined products and crude oil pipelines and terminal facilities throughout the United States.
Earlier, Ms. Fox served as executive vice president of Corporate Transactions and Legal Affairs for Visteon, an $18 billion multinational automotive supplier. She began her legal career as a corporate and litigation associate at a well-regarded law firm, before moving in-house to Johnson Controls. In addition, Ms. Fox is a founder and principal of the Roxbury Group, a Detroit-based real estate development company which specializes in complex urban redevelopment projects.
Ms. Fox graduated from the University of Michigan Law School and received her B.S. from the University of Michigan. While at the University of Michigan, she was honored as a James B. Angell Scholar and earned several merit scholarships. Ms. Fox recently was named one of Michigan’s 2016 100 Most Influential Women by Crain’s Detroit Business.
