DuPont Electronic Technologies Employees Earn IPC Distinguished Committee Service Awards

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., Dec. 30, 2002 - The IPC Association Connecting Electronics Industries recently honored three employees from DuPont Electronic Technologies Flexible Circuit Materials (FCM) business. Tom Fisher, FCM product manager, Tom Gardeski, global technical representative, and Ross Neu, FCM product sponsor, were awarded IPC Distinguished Committee Service Awards at the 2002 IPC Annual Meeting, held Nov. 3-7 in New Orleans, La.

"We are glad to see these individuals recognized for the outstanding work they do with the IPC, in addition to the important contributions they make here at DuPont," said David B. Miller, vice president and general manager of DuPont Electronic Technologies. "Our broad participation in the IPC standards committees is extremely valuable. Not only do we have the opportunity to share our experience and technical expertise, we position products like DuPont Pyralux® flexible laminates to better meet customer needs, and work more closely with customers to ultimately help shape the industry as a whole. It is a key reason DuPont is a leading supplier in the flexible circuit material industry, and in electronic materials as well."

IPC Distinguished Committee Service Awards are given to IPC committee members who make exceptional contributions to standards in the flexible circuit materials industry. For these employees, the awards were given for their support in the development of IPC-4202, Flexible Base Dielectrics for Use in Flexible Printed Circuitry, IPC-4203, Adhesive Coated Dielectric Films for Use as Cover Sheets for Flexible Printed Circuitry and Flexible Adhesive Bonding Films, and IPC-4204, Flexible Metal-Clad Dielectrics for Use in Fabrication of Flexible Printed Circuitry.
