Featuring the DuPont Safety and Sustainability Awards
As uncertainty and complexity continue to define the context in which businesses operate, executives face ever greater pressure to become more agile, delivering profitability despite such turbulence. To further complicate matters, this is occurring within an operating climate defined by immediate challenges, such as volatile commodity prices and stiffening competition, as well as longer-term challenges, such as demographic and technological change.
To overcome such challenges, executives must innovate. Not just innovate with their products or services, but within value chains, within the management and operating systems, and with the way people are recruited, developed and engaged. By focusing on how innovation can be applied to work better and more efficiently, executives can not only become more competitive, but also ensure the longevity of their company – no small feat in the current context.
In light of this, Ellen Kullman, Chair of the Board and CEO of DuPont, is convening an executive forum to provide insight and spark dialogue about innovation as a means to accelerate growth. The high-level participants will be able to interact with one another, share best practices and forge new contacts with senior executives of leading companies around the world.
In conjunction with the forum, DuPont is pleased to host the DuPont Safety and Sustainability Awards, which celebrates the achievements of companies that have found effective, innovative ways of becoming greener, cleaner and leaner.
