Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion, 2018

DuPont received the top score of 100% on the 2018 Disability Equality Index® (DEI®), and is deemed a "2018 Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion." The DEI® is a joint initiative between Disability:IN, formerly the US Business Leadership Network®, and the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD).

Matt Koenings, vice president of Leveraged Operations & Risk Management, said, "We are honored and pleased to be recognized as a Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion for a 3rd year. Achieving a 100% on the DEI® benchmarking index signals that our initiatives are aligned with best practices which support people with disabilities. We have established a great foundation to build upon as we continue our journey to be a leader in disability inclusion."

DEI® points are awarded in four categories: Culture & Leadership, Enterprise-wide Access, Employment Practices and Community Engagement & Support Services.

More than 120 companies participated in the 2018 DEI®, with results indicating where companies are excelling in their commitment to inclusive environmental, social, and governance policies. DEI® results also indicate areas in which companies must improve and close the policy and practice gaps for disability inclusion. The Index measures key performance indicators across organizational culture, leadership, accessibility, employment, community engagement, support services and supplier diversity.
