Intersecting Roads at Churchill and Regency, Australia

Traffic-light-controlled intersections such as this one at the junction of Churchill and Regency in Adelaide, Australia, require pavement with extra resistance to rutting from standing loads. In 1996, the intersection was part of a paving test to show the rut resistance benefits of DuPont™ Elvaloy® RET. Rutting measurements were taken after years of service and showed significantly reduced wheel track deformation using Elvaloy®.
