Citrus Yield Increases with Exirel™

Bob Rouse explains how Exirel™ use improved citrus yield in University of Florida trials.

Bob Rouse, Ph.D., a University of Florida citrus horticulturist, compared citrus yield from trees protected with Exirel insect control and those without Exirel™.

Results show increased yield and maintained internal fruit quality when Exirel™ was used to prevent feeding by damaging pests that can reduce citrus yield.

The EPA registered label contains the statement, “This product is highly toxic to bees exposed to direct treatment on blooming crops or weeds. Do not apply this product or allow to drift to blooming crops or weeds if bees are foraging in the treatment area.” State registrations for DuPont™ Exirel™ insect control are pending.
