Control Soybean White Mold to Protect Yield

Soybean white mold can cause significant yield loss.

Yield loss from soybean white mold can quickly add up. Kevin Niebur, a grower in Plum City, Wisconsin, has had problems with soybean white mold, but found a new solution for yield loss due to disease effects.

Niebur now uses DuPont Aproach® fungicide to control soybean white mold. Better disease control gives him the flexibility to farm the way he wants, without changing his crop production program.

Soybean white mold thrives in cool, wet conditions, especially in northern U.S. climates. Because it withstands freeze-thaw cycles, crop rotation isn’t enough to control soybean white mold infection.
