Identifying Northern Corn Leaf Blight

Northern corn leaf blight overwinters on crop residue. The right spring and summer weather conditions, including sufficient moisture, high humidity and moderate temperatures, allow northern corn leaf blight to move from the lower canopy into the upper canopy of corn plants.

Kevin Hahn, a field development representative with DuPont Crop Protection, provides tips on identifying northern corn leaf blight and best timing for Aproach® fungicide application.
