Waterhemp Control Program Protects Soybean Yield
Waterhemp control continues to challenge soybean growers as the aggressive weed puts a damper on yield and revenues. Leon McClerren, an Illinois grower, describes his search for solutions to herbicide-resistant waterhemp.
He uses a complete herbicide program from preplant applications to a strategic tank mix for postemergence applications. His updated program includes DuPont™ FeXapan™ Plus VaporGrip® Technology, a low-volatility dicamba herbicide, and DuPont™ Trivence® herbicide.
McClerren also recommends using an overlapping program of residual herbicides addressing multiple sites of action for lasting control of waterhemp as it emerges throughout the season and for overall resistant weed management.
DuPont™ FeXapan™ is a restricted-use pesticide.
DuPont™ FeXapan™ herbicide Plus VaporGrip® Technology is not registered in all states. See your DuPont retailer or representative for availability in your state.
