Utility IVM: Past, Present and Future

Utility vegetation management has evolved into integrated vegetation management (IVM) that includes an industry standard. Every control method – manual, mechanical, cultural, biological and chemical – has evolved.

Chemical methods used in utility IVM, from the use of new herbicides to advanced application methods, have resulted in tremendous advances.
