Case ready packaging has experienced double-digit growth in the past 5 years.  And, what’s in the meat case is in step with what consumers are demanding.   In the 2014 Power of Meat Report from the Food Marketing Institute, 78% of shoppers consider the quality of case-ready meat and poultry to meet or exceed that of products processed in the store.  That’s up 16% from 2008.  Specifically, the benefits of vacuum skin packaging are in great demand with consumers.
