- Vamac® ethylene acrylic elastomer: Heat resistance to 175°C with excellent flexibility, oil and chemical resistance. Vamac® Ultra HT AEM delivers continuous heat resistance to 175°C, with peaks to 200°C.
- Viton® fluoroelastomer: Continuous heat resistance to 200°C, with higher excursions possible. Excellent resistance to fuels, lubricants and chemicals.

With an optimized structure and chemical composition, this next generation of Vamac® delivers significant improvements, especially in the presence of engine and transmission lubricants, or acids in exhaust recirculation and closed crankcase ventilation systems.
Higher-Level Heat Resistance: DuPont™ Viton®
For a more powerful solution, Viton® fluoroelastomers (FKM) provide excellent continuous heat resistance up to 200°C, with excursions to higher temperatures. Originally developed for the aerospace industry, today it is specified in demanding automotive, chemical processing, and oil and gas sealing applications, due to its outstanding resistance to aggressive chemicals and fuels. DuPont has developed many types of Viton® to meet a range of end-use and processing needs. Viton® facilities have worldwide ISO 9000 and ISO/TS 16949 registration.
