Quality Standards and Performance of Solar PV Projects – Keys to Success for Achieving India’s 100 GW Solar Mission
DuPont Photovoltaic Solutions and Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) co-hosted a workshop on improving the quality of solar infrastructure in India. The workshop brought together policy makers, government organizations and industry experts to discuss issues and challenges that can impact the reliability and durability of solar projects. It aimed at creating awareness about the need for, and critical importance of, quality standards to ensure optimal return on investments in solar energy systems. The shared perspectives and feedback on best practices for improving the quality and reliability of solar installations was a valuable and timely exchange as India ramps up to meet its goal of 100 gigawatts of solar energy by 2022.
