DuPont Glass Laminating Solutions Launches Butacite® G Special Color Interlayers

DuPont Glass Laminating Solutions recently launched DuPont™ Butacite® G Special Color PVB interlayers, which enhance design possibilities for architects, while maintaining the benefits of safety, sound reduction, solar energy control, UV control, durability and design versatility of other DuPont laminated glass interlayer offerings. Butacite® G Special Color Interlayers come in 10 vibrant colors - Coconut White, Grape Blue, Kiwi Green, Azure Blue, Lemon Yellow, Papaya Yellow, Cantaloupe Orange, Strawberry Red, Blueberry Violet, and Cherry Red. These colors significantly expand the current portfolio of colored interlayer options available to customers.
Most of the new colors come in two styles - Classic and Discrete. Classic interlayers have a higher transparency while Discrete interlayers are designed for a softer or more translucent look and feel. The Butacite® G Special Color Interlayers can be used in commercial structures as part of corporate interiors, railings, bathrooms, schools, museums, entertainment venues, office partitions, floors and stairs, spas and fitness centers and hospitals.

The standard tinted interlayer colors are Light Blue Green, Azure Blue, Dark Blue, Bronze, Gray, Translucent White and Soft White.
