DuPont™ Butacite® Solid Colors

Choose from Five Standard Colors

Picture a Caribbean red tile roof atop a break-in-resistant retail façade made with Azure Blue, one of the standard DuPont™ Butacite® safety glass interlayer colors. Still feeling tropical? How about a marine exhibit balustrade fabricated with Butacite® Light Blue Green interlayer? Or a nearby bank building glazed in Bronze or Gray?

DuPont™ Butacite® solid colors can make a visually distinct statement about a building and who or what is inside. Available standard colors (see right) are: Dark Blue, Gray, Bronze, Light Blue Green and Azure Blue.

Safety glazing made with DuPont™ Butacite® solid color interlayers can deliver the proven safety, comfort and energy-saving benefits of laminated glass in a distinctive new way.

Butacite® Interlayers Also Available in Soft White, and Translucent White

DuPont™ Butacite® solid colors also include two grades of white (see photo, right): "Soft White" and "Translucent White." Used with low-iron glass, or with traditional float glass (as shown), these shades of white can create clean, bright, modern spaces with adjustable levels of privacy or transparency.

For Laminators:

Butacite® solid color safety glass interlayers come in widths up to 321 cm (126 in.) in two thicknesses: 0.38 mm (15 mil) and 0.76 mm (30 mil). Standard roll-lengths are 400 meters (1312 ft) for 15-mil interlayer and 200 m (656 ft) for 30-mil interlayer.
