Laminated glass bus shelter in Paris and telephone booth in Zurich are honored in the 1998 DuPont Benedictus Awards

Two small, freestanding structures of laminated glass were honored in the 1998 DuPont Benedictus Awards. The first is a prototype bus shelter in Paris, designed by architects Murphy/Jahn Inc. of Chicago and Werner Sobek Ingenieure GmbH of Stuttgart.

The second is a telephone booth in Zurich, Switzerland. Named "Telecab 2000' and commissioned by Swisscom, the telephone booth was designed by architects IGGZ of Langnau, Switzerland.
