Fabric and glass-covered roof covers immense external forum space at Sony Centre in Berlin

"For the Sony Centre in Berlin, we worked with Helmut Jahn to create an immense, covered external forum space with a fabric and glass-covered roof. The structure is highly flexible and panel fixings had to be developed to accommodate large movements. Overhead glazing regulations in German are very strict and again laminated glass gave us a solution that passed the test criteria for robustness."
