Degasification System

The amount of degasification from the IX effluent stream can be quantified in WAVE in terms of (as shown in Figure 1):

• CO₂ Percentage Removal
• CO₂ Partial Pressure
• CO₂ Concentration

WAVE provides the possibility of placing the degasification step at various positions in relation to the IX resin beds for some IX processes (as shown in Figure 1):

• After WAC, before SAC
• After cation resin, before anion resin
• After WBA, before SBA

Note:   

• Degasification is only available for some processes.
• WAVE deactivates some options for placing the degasification depending on the IX Sub-process and the Resin Arrangement selected.
