DuPont employees in China partnered with a primary school in Dongzhou to give local students in China’s Shenzhen region a fun way to think about the environmental challenges the world faces – and the actions we can each take to make a difference for the planet. DuPont employees from our Shenzhen location created and delivered an engaging and educational “Sorting Garbage Starts with Me” session for more than 100 students. The session had one simple but important objective: to teach the students that not all trash is the same. Students learned about different types of waste, such as recyclable waste, harmful waste, and kitchen waste. At the end of the program, each student received a Tyvek® recycling bag to use at home.
