DOW™ Specialty Membranes

The Specialty Membrane product line consists of elements with a distinct membrane construction, specializing in unique industrial application needs. Broadening the Water Solutions portfolio to solve operation challenges in extreme conditions, the Specialty Membrane Elements perform consistently to help maximize recovery and separation of valuable compounds, minimize overall system CAPEX while reducing environmental footprint, reduce OPEX by lowering overall energy and cleaning chemicals consumption, and meet regulatory requirements.

Specialty Membranes XUS180808 Ultra-High Pressure RO Element

The Specialty Membranes XUS180808 Reverse Osmosis Element is an ultra-high pressure element for industrial water purification offering an industry wide distinct combination of features. The element can operate up to 120 bar (1,740 psi) due to a distinct element and membrane design which allows increasing the overall efficiency of Minimal Liquid Discharge (MLD) and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) systems. The ultrahigh feed pressure results in very high solute concentrations thus helping to reduce the size of downstream conventional treatment processes or reuse water and concentrated brine directly. The FILMTEC™ seawater reverse osmosis (RO) membrane sheet guarantees excellent rejection and durability at ultra-high pressure and extreme salt concentrations. The products are ideal for the recovery of salts in process streams and concentration of waste streams in various industries.
