Longer Panel Lifetime Provides Greater Investment Returns

DuPont™ Tedlar® polyvinyl fluoride (PVF) film is the only backsheet material proven to protect solar panels in the field for more than 30 years, even in harsh environmental conditions. Unproven or inferior materials may save a few cents per watt, but five years of focused field studies are proving these materials can put system performance, payback and safety at risk. Investment returns for solar can increase by more than 30% if the lifetime of the solar system can be increased from 10 to 25 years.
