Kapton® and Oasis® products are considered articles by definition in the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200). Some Kapton® and Oasis® products do emit a small amount of off-gasses when heated during processing. In keeping with DuPont's continuing commitment to safety and the environment, DuPont provides data sheets detailing the potential hazards of these off-gasses. These off-gasses are present at such low levels during normal use that no hazardous exposure has been recorded. These products can be used safely when used as directed and when applicable safety precautions are followed.
