Guangzhou, China, June 9, 2023 – DuPont today announced its participation in the 28th edition of the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE) from 9-12 June 2023 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex. This year, Specialty Silicone Materials in DuPont Display Technologies will showcase its latest and most innovative products, as well as premier an exciting new brand video to increase awareness of its Chinese brand name, Duroptix®.
Specialty Silicone Materials in DuPont Display Technologies are excited to showcase its latest advancements in LED lighting technology. Its team of experts has been working hard to improve the performance and durability of LEDs with solutions that overcome high heat and light environments, protect against stress, and transmit more light at every level.
The new products include a silicone encapsulant for higher power packages with good processibility of phosphor sedimentation, white reflective materials with improved reliability for auto headlamps, and thermal conductive die attach for high power packages. The ultimate goal is to provide more light with a lower total cost of ownership for the LED lighting market.
Furthermore, DuPont is excited to launch its brand video to increase awareness of its Chinese brand name of Duroptix®. The brand video will highlight the meaning behind the brand name and the company's commitment to innovation in the lighting industry. Building brand recognition and loyalty among Chinese-speaking audiences is a key objective for the company. By naming Duroptix® as “杜乐新®” in Chinese, the purpose is to give the brand a profound meaning: 杜 comes from the pronunciation of “Duro” in “Duroptix®”, which implies “Durable”; 乐 means happiness and 新means innovation, reflecting DuPont’s commitment to providing advanced display products that bring both happiness and the benefits of innovation to our users.
