Strengthening our Workplaces and Products with Industrial Fabrics
As our world becomes increasingly industrialized, so do the demands to protect workers, buildings, and critical processes. DuPont science has engineered the fabrics that have the strength to withstand critical conditions.
For more than 40 years, DuPont has partnered with industries to develop industrial fabrics for a variety of applications and continues to innovate working with partners on new uses. Fabrics include DuPont™ Tyvek® - a durable, lightweight fabric that provides a breathable barrier that cannot be washed or worn away. Because of its properties, Tyvek® can be used in a variety of applications including building homewrap, protective apparel, and medical packaging. Other fabrics include DuPont™ Tychem® for chemical protective apparel, DuPont™ Softesse® medical fabric for drapes and gowns, and DuPont™ Sontara® wiping products.
When industries need fabrics that provide comfort, breathability, strength, or protection, industrial fabrics from DuPont provide the trust and quality partners depend on.
