Wilmington, Del. - May 2, 2025 - The upcoming FTA FORUM INFOFLEX will serve as the starting point for DuPont™ Cyrel® Flexographic Solutions’ year-long celebration of the 25th anniversary of its pioneering FAST thermal processing system.
From May 4th to 7th, the DuPont™ Cyrel® team will be at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, PA, showcasing how from plate to package, its entire range of flexo solutions deliver excellence through innovation and collaboration. “We are thrilled to be at FTA FORUM INFOFLEX to begin our global celebrations marking 25 years of DuPont™ Cyrel® FAST technology. For a quarter of a century, Cyrel® FAST technology has enabled businesses to supercharge productivity and make their packaging designs a reality faster, cleaner, and consistently,” said Tucker Norton, General Manager of Printing & Packaging.

In line with today’s focus on operational efficiency, the DuPont™ Cyrel® FAST system can reduce platemaking time by up to a staggering 75% while the dry, solvent-free process eliminates the need to handle, distil and dispose of washout fluids. Furthermore, relative to a solvent workflow, VOC emissions are reduced by 99.8% and the global warming potential is reduced by 48%, minimizing the environmental footprint.
The thermal processor is named FAST because of how quickly it can provide the first plate, reducing overall downtime relative to a solvent workflow. By enabling busy platemakers to maximize throughput, Cyrel® FAST allows even the highest volume operations to keep the presses going longer, faster, and more sustainably.

As Cyrel® marks these incredible milestones at FTA FORUM INFOFLEX, it will also spotlight its Cyrel® LFH plate, built on the technology of the award-winning Cyrel® Lightning plates optimized for UV-LED exposure, as well as the latest Cyrel® EFM EASY FAST plate, optimized for printing on thinner, rougher substrates, enabling higher quality prints on lower quality substrates, which gives convertors the opportunity to simultaneously improve sustainability outcomes and decrease production costs.
