At K2019, we will demonstrate how DuPont’s material science solutions for connection technology support the high-performance applications for connectors, wire and cables, electrical components and consumer electronics which are essential for the development of the electrical and electronics market and associated smart connection technologies. Our non-halogenated, bio-based nylon resins are flame-retardant and meet evolving trends for surface mount connectors. Additionally, our fully-color-compounded and UV laser-marking-enabled PBT products meet automotive OEM safety requirements to clearly indicate high-voltage components in orange for use in hybrid, plug-in, and battery (HV, PEV, BEV) electric vehicles.

As the healthcare industry undergoes a major shift, transforming from a “sick-care” focus to a “well-care” focus, there is a greater need and an opportunity for connected and patient-centric healthcare solutions.
