Tedlar® is an Ideal Protection Material for Architectural Substrates

Tedlar® PVF films are an Ideal Protection Material for Architectural Substrates

DuPont™ Tedlar® PVF films are easily laminated to a wide range of architectural substrates to provide protection against exreme weather, fading, cracking and corroding.

Tedlar® significantly prolongs the useful life and preserves the aesthetics of interior and exterior architectural applications.

Low maintenance costs
With exceptional resistance to the elements, Tedlar® films allow for lower maintenance costs. Also, in addition to great stain resistance, the chemical stability of Tedlar® allows the strongest cleaning agents to be used without damaging the life of the film or its substrate.

Prevents mold and mildew
When applied to indoor and outdoor fabrics, Tedlar® films prevent them from weakening or forming mildew or mold. Because these films do not support bacterial growth, they are ideal for providing extra protection against contamination in hospitals, laboratories, cleanrooms and restaurants.

Transparent and opaque pigmented films available
Tedlar® films are available in clear film and a wide variety of opaque pigmented films. The color uniformity and fade resistance of pigmented Tedlar® allows it to hold its color and maintain its original appearance for years. Transparent films allow long-term light transmission while greatly minimizing cracking, yellowing or fogging of the laminate.
