Progress in Healthcare Design

The architects of the Angie Fowler Cancer Institute had two major tasks: to create a safe space and to make that space uplifting and life-affirming. The goal was to use innovative healthcare design in a way that would improve the emotional and physical well-being of the young adults who receive treatment at the facility.

Naturally, they turned to DuPont™ Corian®, a surface material that protects against infectious disease while simultaneously interacting with light to create a warm and emotionally healing environment.
