Alex Saldana receives 2025 NLGI Golden Grease Award

MOLYKOTE® Specialty Lubricants proudly participated as a Gold Sponsor at the NLGI (National Lubricating Grease Institute) Annual Meeting 2025, a key event in the grease industry that serves as an important educational and networking platform.   

From June 9 through 12, our experts gathered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA, where we engaged in meaningful discussions about the innovations and strategies that are shaping the future of reliability in lubrication solutions. Several members of our team represented us at this significant event including Chad ChichesterLubrication Application Engineer, Cassie Fhaner- R&D/TS&D Manager, Alvin Palmer- LSSBB, Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Alex Saldaña Altamirano - Latin America North Channel Manager, Arpita Sharma - Senior Scientist and Laura Titzer - Manufacturing Technology Engineer.  

A highlight of the event was Alex Saldaña Altamirano receiving the prestigious Golden Grease Gun Award from the NLGI. This esteemed award acknowledged Alex’s exceptional contributions to the grease industry, including his service as a member of the NLGI Latin America Committee.  

Established by NLGI, the Golden Grease Gun Award honors individuals who have made significant impacts within the grease industry, emphasizing developments in technology, manufacturing, testing, applications, and the promotion of grease usage.   

In his role at DuPont, Alex has continuously demonstrated leadership in marketing and sales while providing technical service for MOLYKOTE® distributors and customers in northern LATAM. We are grateful to have him as part of our team and celebrate his accomplishment.  

Our participation in the NLGI Annual Meeting 2025 not only reinforced our dedication to the grease industry but also highlighted our shared commitment to driving future reliability. We look forward to continuing this journey of innovation and collaboration in the years ahead.
