MOLYKOTE^® Specialty Lubricants Engineer Honored for Lubricants Industry Work

NLGI recognized Chad Chichester with Golden Grease Gun Award for industry service

WILMINGTON, Del, Oct. 14, 2021 – DuPont (NYSE:DD) has announced that MOLYKOTE^® Specialty Lubricants Application Engineer Chad Chichester was recognized by the National Lubricating Grease Institute (NLGI) with their Golden Grease Gun Award.

NLGI introduced the Golden Grease Gun Award to recognize valuable work within the grease industry. The award was created to highlight outstanding individuals working to foster the development of grease technology, manufacturing, testing and applications; better understanding of grease behavior; or the promotion of grease usage.

In his role as a MOLYKOTE^® application engineer, Chichester has provided engineering and design support to lubricant end-users in industrial equipment maintenance and reliability, the oil and gas industry, and the automotive industry. In 2020, he was recognized by the NLGI as the 2020 recipient of its John A. Bellanti Sr. Memorial Award. The award acknowledges meritorious service on the NLGI board, on technical committee projects or to the industry.

Currently, Chichester is technical co-chair of NLGI’s Executive Committee and is a member of the NLGI Board of Directors. He also has taught NLGI’s Basic Grease, Advanced Grease, and Application & Maintenance courses and has chaired numerous NLGI committees. He has also served as Condition Monitoring Technology Committee chair and instructed the Synthetic Lubricants and Condition Monitoring courses for the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE).
