The DuPont Innovation Awards for Thermal and Mechanical Protection recognize exceptional product innovations from all around the world made with DuPont™ Nomex® and/or DuPont™ Kevlar® products that are turned into emergency responder or industrial worker applications and that offer significant benefits to end-users.

Submission criteria & eligibility
The 2025 DuPont Innovation Awards For Thermal & Mechanical Protection received submissions from Nomex® or Kevlar® customers that weave fabrics, manufacture PPE, firefighter turnout gear or hoods made with Kevlar® or Nomex® fibers or fabrics.
