Bystander Intervention Training
In 2021, employees reached out to our global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) teams expressing desire to be better prepared in their journey of becoming better allies for inclusion. In response, we provided employees a Bystander Intervention virtual training course covering what to do if you witness discrimination or harassment in a public space, and how to intervene safely and effectively.
Encouraging all employees to be supportive bystanders is a critical aspect in eradicating harassment and discrimination. It shows those who may experience harassment that they are not alone and reinforces a culture of accountability for all parties involved.
In addition to Bystander Intervention Training, we relaunched a toolkit on the DE&I employee intranet to facilitate better understanding across all employee groups.
The intranet site features curated DE&I learning materials, including unconscious bias and respect training. These tools help employees navigate important and at times uncomfortable conversations.
Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, employees need flexible options for their nutrition and wellness programs. Globally, Integrated Health Services (IHS) provides well-being programs such as virtual or on-site health assessments, walking challenges, nutrition awareness events, and online resources.
IT Cares is an ongoing commitment to communities and the environment that upcycles office technology and empowers individuals who otherwise face barriers to technology.
