IT Cares – Providing access to technology
In 2021, DuPont provided community members around the world with access to technology by finding new life for retired DuPont office equipment.
IT Cares donations enable student education, provide access to employment, and help connect facilities to the world. Giving new life to laptops, phones and other hardware reduces waste to landfills, as well as carbon outputs from the manufacturing and transportation cycles of new devices.
Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, employees need flexible options for their nutrition and wellness programs. Globally, Integrated Health Services (IHS) provides well-being programs such as virtual or on-site health assessments, walking challenges, nutrition awareness events, and online resources.
IT Cares is an ongoing commitment to communities and the environment that upcycles office technology and empowers individuals who otherwise face barriers to technology.
DuPont employees all over the world volunteered time, talent and treasure to aid in combating food insecurity in their communities
STEM job opportunities continue to outnumber qualified applicants, especially in the US, and historically under-represented populations continue to be under-represented in STEM fields. DuPont employees from around the globe are taking action to inspire students and help them see what they can be.
In 2021, employees reached out to our global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) teams expressing desire to be better prepared in their journey to becoming better allies for inclusion.
