<h2><p style="color:white">DuPont announces for DuPont™ ArmorWall™ Systems two new ICC-ESL Reports for structural strength of assemblies</i></h4>

WILMINGTON, Del., July 12, 2023 —DuPont Performance Building Solutions announced today that DuPont™ ArmorWall™ Systems has received two new ICC-ESL Reports  from the International Code Council (ICC). The newly attained reports are ICC-ESL-1536, applicable to ASTM E72-22, and ICC-ESL-1543, applicable to ASTM D1761-12. Obtaining these two notable third-party listings is yet another innovation in DuPont’s goal to deliver "safe and sustainable by design" products with verified in-plane shear racking strength, and fastener withdrawal strength for mechanical cladding attachment.

The ESL-1536 is for ASTM E72-22: Standard Test Methods of Conducting Strength Tests of Panels for Building Construction, which determines the structural properties of segments of wall, floor, and roof constructions. The ESL-1543 is for ASTM D1761-12: Standard Test Methods for Mechanical Fasteners in Wood, which evaluates the resistance of wood and wood-base materials to direct withdrawal of nails, staples, and screws.   These two tests are critical for a structural engineer to use during the exterior wall design process.

The ICC-ES Listing Program is the most recognized testing program in the industry for manufacturers of building products covered by existing consensus standards to show their product compliance with applicable standards referenced in the building codes and other applicable codes. • ICC-ESL 1306 for ASTM E330: Standard Test Method for Structural Performance of Exterior Windows, Doors, Skylights and Curtain Walls by Uniform Static Air Pressure Difference (Re-issued July, 2023)
