BETAMATE™ structural adhesives

DuPont introduced structural adhesives to the market in 1999 to enable lightweighting and reduce welding and mechanical fasteners while improving vehicle stiffness and crashworthiness, and we are still innovating.

New BETAMATE™ broad bake structural adhesives are a novel solution enabling sustainable manufacturing of next-generation electric vehicles. The lower adhesive curing temperature enables a reduction of the e-coat oven temperatures for more sustainable manufacturing and facilitates novel electric vehicle design enhancing battery integrity and therefore passenger safety.
