For the 11th straight year, DuPont has made the National Association for Female Executives’ prestigious list.
The NAFE list recognizes U.S. corporations displaying a strong focus on best practices that demonstrate effectiveness in moving women to senior ranks — practices such as mentoring, sponsorship, involvement in employee resource groups, and leadership development training. The list also highlights company benefits, including flexibility, corporate culture, and CEO involvement in advancing women.
The NAFE Top 70 Companies list is featured in the April/May issue of Working Mother Magazine. The full report on this year’s winners is accessible here. NAFE and Working Mother continue to explore what keeps women from the top while highlighting the successes at the trailblazing companies featured on the NAFE’s annual list.
Said DuPont Chief Human Resources Officer Darrell Ford, “I and I’m sure many others at DuPont are gratified to be considered a top company for executive women. It reflects our strong commitment to Diversity & Inclusion. But while we may be ahead of the curve, we have plenty to room to grow. So as we celebrate this recognition, let’s also aim higher.”
Here are some numbers highlighting how the 2019 NAFE Top 70 Companies stood out:
The application for inclusion on the 2019 NAFE Top 70 Companies list featured more than 200 questions on topics that addressed female representation at all levels, but especially corporate officer and profit-and-loss.
There are numerous reasons to be justifiably proud of our company. But near the top of the list is the career opportunities available to women at DuPont.
