DuPont Joins the Gerber PPE Task Force to Help Increase PPE Garment Supply Amid COVID-19

The Gerber PPE Task Force is helping manufacturers switch to production of personal protective equipment made with #TyvekTogether material.

In what’s an unprecedented global emergency, companies around the world need to band together, think creatively, and act fast to protect all people, but especially our healthcare workers.

To help support the fight, Gerber is joining forces and has created the Gerber PPE Task Force to support their customers as they work to increase their production and/or transition to manufacturing personal protective equipment (PPE).  They are collaborating with Material Concepts and DuPont to support customers who are interested in manufacturing gowns made with Tyvek® 1222A as part of the #TyvekTogether program.

Gerber Technology is bringing together their global network of manufacturers and suppliers to increase production of PPE and make it more widely available. Through their PPE Task Force, Gerber's team of experts is helping manufacturers of all industries retool and optimize their supply by providing the technology, support and resources they need for fast, efficient, and sustainable PPE production. Gerber has set up a robust resource library which includes production-ready patterns, cut files, markers,  and tech packs. In addition, Gerber has also created a PPE Manufacturer Matchmaking Program to promote collaboration among manufacturers and suppliers.
