Reddington Addresses Customers at IPC/APEX

In a presentation to customers at the DuPont booth during the Institute for Printed Circuits (IPC) APEX Exposition recently held in San Diego, CA, Erik Reddington said the company was committed to playing a role in returning printed circuit board manufacturing to the United States and Europe.

Reddington, the West Commercial Leader for Metallization & Imaging, and Laminates for Interconnect Solutions (ICS), said DuPont’s portfolio of innovative, more sustainable metallization, dry film and flexible circuit material solutions are essential to the domestic growth of the PCB industry. He noted that DuPont’s solutions are helping to drive device speed and reliability – enabling a range of applications from 5G connectivity to autonomous vehicles. He also cited the recently completed $250 million Kapton® polyimide film manufacturing expansion in Circleville, Ohio and DuPont’s participation in the Printed Circuit Board Association of America (PCBAA)--the consortium of U.S.-based companies that support U.S. domestic production of printed circuit boards—as additional proof points of the company’s role in understanding the needs of the domestic PCB industry and developing solutions to enable next generation material advancements.
