DuPont Electronics & Industrial Completes Duroptix® Product Brand Name Change

Following DuPont’s refreshed branding and a phased approach to product rebranding, we are pleased to announce a new product brand name - Duroptix® for LED silicone materials. The Duroptix® brand is being used with a number of products that previously used the Dow Corning™ brand as part of their name. Customers can continue to count on the same performance and durability of these high-performance silicone-based optical materials that they have come to trust.
Duroptix® is a new name created to identify products for LED optical encapsulation materials and other silicone-based materials. After careful consideration, we chose the name that accentuates the associated meanings of the word parts: “Dur” creates a connection with durability and “optics” creates an association with optical materials.
