From Safe to Premium with DuPont FilmTec™ Nanofiltration Elements

Zhangjiagang City, China - Since November 2020, over 4,500 DuPont FilmTec™ NF270 Nanofiltration (NF) elements have started producing 100,000 m³/d (cubic meters per day) premium drinking water in the Zhangjiagang Municipal Water Plant. FilmTec™ NF270 is positioned to remove specific contaminants, such as natural organic compounds, pesticides, antibiotics and heavy metal, while allowing a medium level of salt passage to retain instrumental minerals. Coming close on the heels of this Phase I project, two more NF270 installations of 100,000 m³/d for Phase II and 200,000 m³/d for Phase III are set to be rolled out by 2021 and 2022 respectively. Upon that, Zhangjiagang City will have a 100% advanced municipal drinking water treatment.
