DuPont Water Solutions Helped Wastewater Reuse Project of Shandong Chenming

The Chenming Group takes an active role in promoting energy conservation and emission reductions across the pulp and paper industry. It has made a significant investment in waste treatment technology, constructing a series of ten world-class wastewater treatment systems at its Shandong Chenming manufacturing facility.

The Shandong Chenming wastewater reuse project represents the largest deployment of DuPont™ IntegraFlux™ UF* and FilmTec™ Fortilife™ RO elements in China, with more than 6,000 elements providing a treatment capacity of 80,000 m3/d.

Advanced membrane technology from DuPont has helped Chenming overcome the challenge of treating highly polluted wastewater with high concentrations of COD and iron ions, allowing them to achieve the water yield and effluent quality requirements necessary for efficient reuse.
