Addressing the World's Growing Water and Energy Needs at the 2024 International Water Conference (IWC)

DuPont Water Solutions will have a strong voice at the 2024 International Water Conference (IWC) at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada from November 3-7. The Water Solutions team will share their expertise on a variety of solutions to help address the world's growing water and energy demands, including topics that will demonstrate how advanced water technologies can extract value from wastewater—and how they can play a key role in the production of green hydrogen and lithium.

Here are opportunities to learn from DuPont’s technical experts:

Monday, November 4

  • Victoria Oveson, Technical Service and Development Engineer, will be a discusser during an external presentation on 95% Recovery treatment of Cooling Tower Blowdown in the Automotive Industry
  • Denise Haukkala, Technical Service Specialist, will present a paper on Lithium Extraction and Purification Schemes From Brine Streams – The Key Role of Lithium Nanofiltration Technology

Tuesday, November 5

  • Matt Roth, Technical Service Manager and Engineer for Hydrogen & UPW Applications, will present a paper on The Role of Clean Water for a Robust and Reliable Production of Green Hydrogen
  • Dr. Toni Bechtel, RO/NF Product Development Manager, will present a paper on Leveraging MLD/ZLD Success Across Industries
  • Ashesh "A.C." Vora, Technical Sales Engineer, will present a paper on Enabling ZLD of Cooling Tower Blowdown Utilizing Closed Circuit Reverse Osmosis (CCRO)

During the exhibition

  • Visit the DuPont Water Solutions booth at Booth 403/404
  • A closer look at the Water Solutions Sustainability Navigator: IWC attendees will also have the opportunity to get a hands-on look at the Water Solutions Sustainability Navigator—the first digital tool designed to help users estimate key sustainability indicators when using various water treatment technologies. The Water Solutions Sustainability Navigator enables users to compare how different potential water treatment scenarios impact sustainability indicators, including carbon emissions, chemicals used, wastewater produced, solid waste generated, and footprint needed. All calculations and indicators are validated by a third-party verification performed by LRQA, a global assurance provider.
