DuPont Doubles Down on Digital with WAVE PRO for Ultrafiltration
Over a decade ago, we introduced the first version of the Water Application Value Engine (WAVE) software platform. This platform made advanced proprietary water treatment models accessible to a broader audience, models that had been tested and refined over more than 30 years.
The next-generation successor, WAVE PRO for Ultrafiltration (UF), continues DuPont’s commitment to investing in digital tools for water professionals. It helps them navigate the increasingly complex landscape of water technologies, identify ways to achieve operational efficiencies, and extend the projected service life of products.
DuPont has ambitious plans for WAVE PRO, including a roadmap to integrate additional technologies such as reverse osmosis and ion exchange before the retirement of the original desktop version of WAVE next year. The platform will also continue to evolve based on user feedback.
WAVE PRO is the latest addition to DuPont's expanding suite of digital tools and knowledge resources designed for water professionals. These resources support the planning and operation of water assets, optimize membrane costs, reduce carbon footprints, and calculate the expected service life of ion exchange resins.
