DuPont™ AmberChrom™ CG300 chromatography resins are macroporous polymeric resins for reversed phase HPLC. These crosslinked DVB resins have a mean pore diameter of 300 Å as measured by N2 BET and are ideally suited for peptides and oligonucleotides, as well as fermented products and natural extracts. With high mechanical robustness and chemical resistance, these resins are excellent alternatives to reverse phase silica such as C18 silica. The AmberChrom™ CG300 products are supplied in a slurry of 50% resin by volume in an 80/20 (v/v) mixture of water and ethanol. Dry grade (DuPont™ AmberChrom™ CG300MD) is available upon request.
There are three product grades in the series:
• DuPont™ AmberChrom™ CG300S: Available in prepacked columns as DuPont™ Profile™ CG300S HPLC column, this product is available upon special request. It is a 7.5mm x 150mm PEEK column packed with DuPont™ AmberChrom™ CG300S resin, a 35 µm resin with 300 Å pores.
• DuPont™ AmberChrom™ CG300M: DuPont recommends this grade as the starting point for most applications as it balances high resolution with reasonable pressure drop. Mean particle diameter is
~75 µm. See Product Data Sheet for details.
• DuPont™ AmberChrom™ CG300C: This product has the largest diameter in the CG300 series, with a mean particle size of 120 µm. Customers may turn to AmberChrom™ CG300C when their processes cannot tolerate the pressures of CG161M. See Product Data Sheet for details.
