DuPont™ Inge™ MB and DuPont™ Inge™ MB PRO Ultrafiltration fibers

The DuPont™ Inge™ MB and DuPont™ Inge™ MB PROultrafiltration fibers, part of the DuPont™ Inge™ brand portfolio, are a series of highly robust multi-capillary membrane fibers made out of PES material with proven features, such as exceptional physical strength and excellent filtration permeability. The water to be treated is forced through the capillaries and dispersed laterally through the pores of the membrane, which are only 20 nanometers in diameter. Suspended solids, viruses, germs, and bacteria are retained inside the capillaries. Thanks to the geometrically optimized arrangement of the capillaries, the stability of Inge ™ MB fibersis extremely high – in contrast to conventional single-fiber capillary In-Out membrane products, which are prone to sudden breakage. Inge ™ MB fibers deliver a consistently high level of filtrate quality, even in cases where the composition of the original water varies. Therefore, this technology is the optimum choice for maximum operating reliability.

The innovation – next generation DuPont™ Inge™ MB PRO fibers

Other than the classic Inge™ MB ultrafiltration (UF) fibers with seven capillaries, DuPont™ recently introduced the next generation of PES In-Out Ultrafiltration membrane: Inge™ MB PRO ultrafiltration fibers – the world's first polymeric UF fiber with 19 capillary arrangement and precision structure. This new fiber helps reduce the number of modules needed in filtration systems and delivers proven performance within a significantly smaller footprint.
