MemCor™ Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) Systems

MemCor™ MBR systems – Efficient, Effective, Established

MemCor™ MBR systems have established a reputation for high efficiency, reliability, and reduced operational costs.  Designed with operators in mind, it is now used in more than 300 municipal and industrial installations worldwide to convert secondary wastewater into high-quality effluent.

MemCor™ MBR systems combine unique large bubble pulsed aeration with MemPulse™ MBR modules to provide excellent effluent quality at lower aeration energy compared to other MBR systems. Based on modules with 100% PVDF hollow fibers with 0.4 mm pore size, the system delivers stable performance, operational flexibility, and low OpEx—resulting in significant cost savings throughout the life of the product.

MemCor™ Ultrafiltration (UF) Systems

Engineered in Collaboration

For over 40 years, MemCor™ UF systems have delivered optimized, purpose-built solutions designed to fit your operations. Available in pressurized and submerged configurations, MemCor™ UF systems are designed to be flexible, efficient, and easy to install & operate.

For municipal water and wastewater plants that need consistent treatment for potable uses, reuse or discharge, Memcor™ UF systems offer cost-effective and efficient filtration of suspended solids, phosphorus, and pathogens, enabling reliable wastewater treatment with high water recovery and controlled footprint. For municipal drinking water facilities, these UF systems remove pathogens from drinking water and serve as effective pre-treatment for reverse osmosis (RO) systems.

Unlike other pressurized ultrafiltration solutions, MemCor™ UF systems provide custom-designed designs for cost-effective performance over the plant’s lifetime thanks to long lasting fiber integrity, hydraulically efficient module construction, and fit-for-purpose process and engineering designs based on extensive drinking water and wastewater application knowledge.

System configurations

MemCor™ systems can be designed in a variety of configurations to balance end-users’ unique needs for their facilities. Our team works with engineering firms, owners, and owners’ engineers to determine the configuration that best fits the end-user’s goals.

  • Suitable for open tank concept & mobile units.
  • Easy maintenance & replacement.

Dual Rack: Optimized savings on tanks and more

  • Simpler rack design with fewer manifolds/pipes to the main header than single racks/small cassettes for both capital cost savings and easier maintenance.
  • Low cost of labor & installation engineering.
  • Suitable for open tank concept & mobile units.
  • Easy maintenance & replacement.

Hanging Dual Rack: Best of both worlds using MemPulse™ MBR module racks with cassette-based tank layouts

  • Fewer manifolds/pipes to main header (lower cost) vs. Single Rack/Small Cassettes.
  • Suitable for conventional tank designs that use covers and grating.
  • Easy maintenance & replacement.

Adaptive Module Series (AM) for cassette system retrofit: Maximize your production and reduce energy

  • MemPulse™ MBR module based solutions for upgrades and retrofits.
  • Access to low energy aeration technology & process control that features low chemical usage.
