AmberLite™ Ion Exchange Resins and Polymeric Adsorbents

DuPont™ AmberLite™ FPA40 Cl

AmberLite™ FPA40 Cl Ion Exchange Resin is a gel, strong base (Type I) anion exchange resin, supplied in the Cl-form. While the resin has a gel matrix, it also exhibits some of the physical stability characteristics of macroporous resins. These properties make it ideally suited to the reversible uptake of organic color bodies commonly found in sucrose syrups. AmberLite™ FPA40 Cl resin can be used to decolorize sugar solutions < 200 ICUMSA and it can also be used in bioprocessing applications including the capture and recovery of clavulanic acid and decolorization of antibiotics.
